My Thursday started at 5am.
By 5pm I was running on fumes and the agenda was still full. Not a great combination. The plans? Drinks with friends, then a show. I could have talked myself out of going.
I didn't. And the moment I walked in, I knew. A cocktail, some snacks, the right people across the table. I was exactly where I needed to be. My friend and I both drive Jeep Wranglers. Our husbands both hate them. We found this unreasonably funny.
That's the thing about going out with good friends. It fills you up in a way you didn't even know you were empty.
