

I got on a family Zoom call last week and within thirty seconds everyone could hear it.
The congestion. The sniffling. I was convinced I had a cold. My oldest (and wisest) sister looked at me through the screen and said: this happens every year at this time. Oh. Right. The next five minutes were a full village intervention with remedies and routines. Big sis even checked in on me a few days later.
I don't know what I'd do without them. Managing my allergies, it turns out, takes a village. I'm glad mine shows up.
