My son lives close by. I don't take that for granted.

It's his first apartment. He's decorating slowly, adding things when the budget allows. I introduced him to Facebook Marketplace. He was grateful.

Three weeks ago, he acquired a 55-inch TV.

Then he invited his parents over for NFL football and food.

Week one: he made chicken cutlet sandwiches. Week two: chili. Yesterday: hot honey rotisserie chicken and pickle sliders. (They were amazing!)

We don't watch a specific team. We watch ALL the teams, on RedZone, which I don't really care for. I do care a lot about spending my Sundays with him.
